Quilt Show
“Blooming Quilts”
The Souhegan Valley Quilters’ Guild held their semi-annual Quilt Show in May. At the conclusion of the Show, raffle tickets were drawn for 29 mini quilts. The money raised supports our Guild and brings teachers in to increase our skills, and it helps us support the New England Quilt Museum in Lowell, MA and several local charities. One of the charities is our Comfort Quilt Closet which is always stocked with quilts which we present to individuals experiencing life challenges.
The quilt above, “Springtime in My Garden” was designed and created by Jeannine Rigney. The highest number of tickets were sold for this quilt, and the lucky winner was Julie Scott.
The following people won one of the remaining quilts: Peg Harbert, D. Curran, C. Stone, Carolyn Flanagan, Mary Yanneth, Sherry Duffy, Beth Bowell, Carol Crowl, Susan Holt, Barbara Potter, Nancy Hughes, Donna Motsis, Sylvia Weld, Leslie Dionne, Teresa Davis, Natalie Marechal, Emily Cannon, Laura Brannigan, Rebecca Scalia, Jay Weller, Chris Brown, Barbara Adams, Judy Mills, Ellen Fisher, Teresa Davis, Carolyn Quinn, Joanne McClure, and Barbara Tortorelli.
The Souhegan Valley Quilters’ Guild would like to thank everyone who supported our Guild.
